At Paris Dauphine-PSL, a non-EU student in a national master's can pay just €255 a year in 2026/27, but only after a motivated exemption request at enrolment; without it, the fee is €3,950. Dauphine's own institution degrees (DGE master's) cost €6,831 a year for non-EU tax residents, with no reductions.
Dauphine is a specialist in finance, economics, management, mathematics and AI, and it awards degrees as part of Université PSL. For the right program, it is one of the best-value business and quantitative schools in Paris. The key is knowing which fee category your master's falls into.
Why Dauphine is good value
- Low fees for national master's: with a successful partial-exemption request, you pay the same €255 as French and EU students.
- Specialist programs: finance, quantitative economics, management research, applied mathematics and artificial intelligence, many entirely in English.
- PSL network: degrees are awarded by Université PSL, and IASD is coordinated with École normale supérieure and École des Mines de Paris.
- No application fee: none is stated for MyCandidature.
Tuition and fees for non-EU students (2026/27)
| Program type | Non-EU fee | How to reduce it |
|---|---|---|
| National master's (diplôme national) | €3,950 | Motivated partial-exemption request at enrolment brings it to €255 |
| DGE master's (Dauphine diploma) | €6,831 flat | No reductions for non-EU tax residence |
| Licence Sciences des Organisations | €2,349 | Non-EU fiscal residents |
| Doctorate | €398 | Not subject to differentiated fees |
DGE fees depend on the tax residence of your parents (or yours, if you are tax-independent). The fees page warns that some rates may change for 2027/28 and gives no 2027/28 amounts yet.
Check the diploma type first
On each program page, look at "Type of Diploma". IASD says "National diploma conferring the Master's degree", so the €255 route is open. The Financial Markets page instead says "State-controlled degree conferring a master grade"; ask Dauphine which fee category applies before you count on €255.
English-taught programs
Most Dauphine master's are taught mainly in French, but these are taught entirely in English:
- Finance: Financial Markets (203), M1 and M2; Research in Finance (104), M2
- Economics: Quantitative Economics, M1; Quantitative Economic Analysis (296), M2; Data-Driven Decisions and Digital Economics (297), M2
- Management: Research in Management, M1 and M2; International Business (MIB, 233), M2
- Computer science and maths: Artificial Intelligence, Systems, Data (IASD), M2; Applied and Theoretical Mathematics (MATH), M2
- Bachelor's level: the L3 International Management track is taught in English
Two more English tracks (International Program in Economics and Finance 304, and the English Track in Law) are only open to partner-university or internal students. More options are in English-taught programs in France.
Admission requirements
- M1: a bachelor's (180 ECTS) in a relevant field. Financial Markets expects economics, management or maths from a strong institution.
- M2: 240 ECTS (four years) in the field. IASD takes computer science or applied maths graduates and final-year engineering students, decided on file only.
- Selection: eligibility on file, then an interview for most programs. No numeric minimum grade is published.
- English and tests: Financial Markets requires a TOEFL iBT taken within the last two years and strongly recommends GMAT or GRE. Other programs assess English on your file.

Living in Paris
Plan for Paris prices: the visa requires at least €877.50 a month, Campus France's average CROUS rent in Paris is about €450, and private studios start at about €800 (Service-Public). Our cost of studying in France guide helps you build a budget.
Applying from Afghanistan
Études en France may still apply to you
The French government's 2027 call for Afghan applicants says people living in Afghanistan apply through Campus France in India, Iran or Pakistan and the Études en France platform, and only those embassies issue their student visas. Dauphine says EEF-country residents must file on Études en France as well as MyCandidature. Confirm your route with Dauphine and Campus France, and start legalizing Afghan documents early; see our documents guide.
